The 383/405 TPI is a great high-performance replacement engine for your Tuned-Port Injection street rod. With 492 lb/ft at 3500 rpm, 405 horsepower at 5000 rpm, and a good idle, this engine works well for both street and strip use. Requires a performance chip for the ECM which is available under options.
